I would like to go on holidays to Bali but away from the polluted touristy spots. Can you give me some ideas?

I went to Kuta but was very disappointed as there were too many Australians there, and the beaches were polluted with raw sewerage. I would like to experience another side of Indonesia if possible. What do you recommend?
