Why can't I click on anything in ebay?

When ebay loads my search results, I notice that it loads ads in the left bottom bar (where it also has magnification). However, it loads these things and then the page fades and my mouse pointer turns into an hourglass as if there's a popup within the site. How do I fix this? I can't click on anything.
