HELP!! My Basement Flooded!! What do I do about the smell?

We have a sump pump in our basement. Over the weekend we got a lot of rain and somehow the float for the pump got stuck and it wasn't able to open, causing water to back up into our basement living room, which is carpeted. The water wasn't deep, but the carpet was wet in just over half of the room. We took a shop vac too the carpet to get out as much water as possible. We have put fans down there and a dehumidifier. The problem is that now it smells very musty. There was no sewage backup or anything, just water all throughout the room. Replacing the carpet is not an option, we can't afford it right now. Also, I am unable to remove it to air it out. The biggest problem is that we are moving next week!!! The lady who bought our house gets possession July 1, so I need to ge the smell out NOW!! Any suggestions???
